Record Store Day
With today being record store day, my Saturday errands included picking up some vinyl.
Old Camera, New Camera
My photo posts have slowed in recent months on account of the poor condition of my digital camera. But it’s a new year, and I have a new camera! The holidays brought me a new digital SLR camera and I am all set to go. The old camera pictured above served me well, capturing 16918 photos in 4 years. While taking photos of the former Clairtone building in Stellarton, I couldn’t help but notice this out -of-place M113A3 Personnel Carrier just sitting there. It looked new, or freshly painted. Odd site indeed.
Clairtone Factory
At its peak in the 1960s, Clairtone Sound Corporation was one of the most admired companies in the field of electronics. Today, this abandoned factory in Stellarton, Nova Scotia is all that remains.
