Sunday morning overlooking the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton.

Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton. Interesting to note that in 1985 this beautiful hotel was considered a run-down slum and was slated for demolition. The city of Edmonton saved it from the wrecking ball by declaring it a heritage property and Fairmont Hotels renovated it in 1988.

Supper at Calgary’s favourite, and classic, Peter’s Drive-In.

I love the simple and effective take-away packaging from Peter’s Drive-In. Simple style since 1963.
